Westchester On the Level

The Yonkers City Couvil was the venue for a public hearing regarding Mayor Mike Spano's proposed FY2012-2013 Budget. Meetings began as early as 4:30 p.m. and were concluded closer to 7:00 pm, in time for the public hearing to begin. At 9:05 p.m. the City Council President those in attendance a 5 minute intermission with a claim that the audio / video tape neded to be cahnged. That was my segue to depart. 23 additionals speakers were on the roster. The public hearing would be followed by a Yonkers City Council meeting. I surmised the meeting would end closer to 1 a.m. I will discuss the public hearing from Wednesday's morning hour onward. Some people may be able to avail themselves for the show. We will do our best if left to my own devices.
