There was a time when societal issues and concerns could be answered by political dogma. Dr. Oren Levin-Waldman, professor of Public Policy and Public Administration, Metropolitan College of New York, suggests “Talking Points Don’t Create Jobs”. Yet talking points which often camouflage issues and concerns are the standards by which we now judge. Belief in moral, social, and ethical standards to which society once concurred have been cast aside. At issue then is why have we settled on standards that no longer measure up to standards once considered stellar? We’ll attempt to unravel the conundrum during the 10 a.m. opening hour of the “featured” BlogTalk Radio show Westchester on the Level with Narog and Aris. Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick joins the show for the second hour from 11 a.m. until we conclude our broadcast day at Noon. Hezi Aris is your host today.
