Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris opens this Friday, March 18th at 10am DST with Host Hezi Aris engage in hyperlocal, county, state, national and international news in review.

We welcome Reclaim New York Executive Director Brandon Muir at the top of the opening hour. Reclaim New York’s primary goal is to engage New Yorkers in the day-to-day policy debate and get people active in holding government accountable – with a particular eye to their areas of focus: economy and jobs, affordability, education, and ethics/corruption. They are soon to release a report that will cover the Hudson Valley (Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Westchester, Rockland, including Yonkers. They will have a case study for Yonkers as part of their data.

They aim to get unique, locally-focused info to folks on the ground – and in particular with their transparency efforts, train them to FOIL govt. offices and review checkbooks they get back. The heart of Reclaim New York is reaching and working with real New Yorkers. The resource guide may be initiated at www.NYCalculator.org.
