New York State Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow attends the "featured" BlogTalkRadio program Westchester On the Level this Friday, May 13th from 10-10:30am. He was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1992 to represent the 89th district, which includes Mount Vernon and Yonkers.

CSEA Unit 9169 President Lionel Turner speaks to our audience from 10:30-11am about the people he represents. CSEA workers are the backbone of the Yonkers Board of Education and disparate offices in Yonkers City Hall, yet they are the least well paid of all the unions in the City of Yonkers. Their median salary amounts to$26,000 per annum. They have been working without a contract for over 2 years. We speak to Mr. Turner to learn and appreciate the issues the union needs to be resolved.

We are awaiting confirmation of an intended guest at 11am.

Melissa McCarter attends the broadcast at 11:30am in celebration of World Belly Dance Day this Saturday, May 14th. She is a member of the Yonkers Shimmy Mob. The world's largest belly dance flash mob-style event that celebrates belly dance while raising donations for Safe Horizon, the largest organization helping victims of domestic violence in the United States is the their focus. The group can be caught in action locally at Athleta in Scarsdale on 700 Post Road at 11:00 am and at The Yonkers Arts Weekend @Van der Donck Park between 3-5 pm this Saturday, May 14th.

Hezi Aris is your host today. We conclude the broadcast day at 12Noon.

Your participation is shamelessly solicited; Participate by calling (347) 205-9201.
