Afya Founder Danielle Butin attends the broadcast at 11am. We learn the foundation’s mission is to help improve the health of individuals living in Africa and The Caribbean. Afya, www.afyafoundation.org , a non-profit organization, collects surplus medical supplies, hospital equipment and humanitarian provisions from health care facilities and businesses and private donors to support disaster-related health programs and on-going health initiatives. Since its founding in 2008, Afya has shipped more than 6 million pounds of donated supplies to more than 50 countries.

Rural & Migrant Ministry Exec. Dir. Rev. Richard Witt attends the broadcast at 11:30am. RMM recognizes that the life of poor, rural, and sometimes migrant, farmworker households include more than experiences of prejudice and inequality but also extreme economic deprivation, and isolation. In deference to the reality RMM is a welcoming haven to farmworkers in the Hudson Valley. RMM provides a sense of community, continuity and belonging. We learn about his ministry and 35 years impact.
