The Yonkers City Council vote of 4-3 for adopting the recommendations of the Landmark Board regarding the conversion of a private home in the Colonial Heights section to that of a Masjid, a mosque, was given expression to a politically driven divide among the three Democrats and the four Republicans. That issue among others will be covered in the opening half-hour of the broadcast day.
