WESTCHESTER, NY – December , 2016 -- "Bullying Rates Remain Higher for Children with Disabilities, Even As They Mature By NATHAN HURST" is the subject matter. Dr. Chad Rose, a bullying expert and an assistant professor of special education in the MIssouri University College of Education, has determined that children with disabilities are victimized by bullying at a much higher rate over time than their peers without disabilities. We learn what his studies revealed behavior patterns among the general population, and its previously unrecognized impact and greater victimization of children with disabilities who have not been taught the coping skills they require to fend off bullies.
