Political Analyst Michael Edelman, Esq. weighs in on whether Alan Dershowitz's assertion that Trump was right to try to stop Obama from tying his hands over Israel regarding the abstention cast by the United States at the United Nations Security Council vote over settlement buildings in Judea and Samaria regarded by some as Palestinian land. Israel Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said the U.S abstention was "in complete contrast" to U.S. commitments - including one that he said Obama made in 2011 - not to impose conditions for a final agreement on Israel at the Security Council. "The Obama administration conducted a shameful anti-Israel ambush at the U.N. Netanyahu said. Also, a Santa Monica, California, Chabad synagogue was smeared with feces and food in an attack on the first night of Hannukah.
