The New York Mets had an extrodinary 2015 season which lead to an unexpected run to the World Series they came up short to the Kansas City Royals. If there's one man who knows the Mets and is there on a day to day basis it's Ed Coleman who's the Beat Reporter for WFAN in NYC. He'll be joining me tonight to recap the magical 2015 Mets season, the highs, the lows and everything in between.
The Jets had an opportunity to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2010, win and they were in but they needed to go through their old friend, Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, they didn't put together their best effort and came up just short and while they still had a shot to make the playoffs with a loss the Pittsburgh Steelers weren't going to let them off the hook with another stunning defeat as they beat the Cleveland Browns.
The other football team in NY had no chance of reaching the post-season but still had one more game to play as they took on the Philadelphia Eagles in the season ending game. Might it have been Tom Coughlin's last game? If so they didn't send him out with the strongest performance as the Giants were defeated by the Eagles 35-30.
I'll also take a look into the basketball teams from the big apple as well.
