A Look At 2016 So Far - Episode 1 at 8 p.m. central time

It is another year! I am always excited to delve into the start of a new year as it bring new movies and television. There are always the continuing franchises, but the breakouts and new beginnings are the ones that I anticipate the most. The end of some eras will be seen, but then we get to have new traditions to look forward to. As happy as I am with all the wonderful experiences we will be having, there are those who will not be able to celebrate them with us. Death is the only certainty in this life, and it is always hard to process those irreversable losses. The recent losses of David Bowie and Alan Rickman have been especially difficult for me, as these two men shaped my views on the world and the characters that reside in it. As the other greats in the creative world have done, they left their marks on this world and performed their unique perspective of it in their work.
