New York Mets relief pitcher Jenrry Mejia was suspended for PED use at the beginning of the season last year which landed him with an 80 game suspension, he returned July 7, 2015 and pitched decently well. Then, Mejia was again found guilty of PED use and suspended for an entire Major League Baseball season resulting in 162 game suspension in total on July 28, 2015. With this suspension people believed this would be the final time the New York Mets would associate themselves with the relief pitcher, however the team's brass decided to give him one last shot and extend a contract to him this off-season. This ended up being for not as Mejia yet again tested positive for PED's for the third time which results in a life time ban from Major League Baseball. I'll give my reaction to this news along with how the team will cope with this loss in the bullpen and the prospects for the team this year. We'll also talk some Yankees baseball.

The Knicks dismiss Head Coach Derek Fisher after a 9 of 10 game losing skid and President of Basketball Operations Phil Jackson not feeling this team was heading in the right direction. Kurt Rambis has stepped in on an Interim basis as the team limped into the All-Star Break. Meanwhile, there have been rumors swirling that the Knicks are looking to move Carmelo Anthony. I'll dive into that along with how the Knicks can possibly salvage this 2015-2016 season.
