Weekend Sports Huddle with Tom Pollin & Dave Holcomb

WRSP presents the sixth weekly episode of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin and Dave Holcomb. The Cubs limped into the All-Star break, but it may have come at the perfect time because the team is back on track, having won five of its last seven games. Chicago also made its first trade, acquiring left-handed relief pitcher Mike Montgomery. 

Speaking of trades, the MLB trade deadline is quickly approaching. With the Pirates still lurking in the wild card race, what do they do?

Also in baseball, we have the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony Saturday. Two of the greatest players of all-time, Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza, will be enshrined in Cooperstown.

To end the show, our hosts will move to the NFL. As it always seems, the NFL's biggest stories are off the field. Steelers All-Pro running back Le'Veon Bell failed to show up for a test and will miss the first four games of the 2016 season. Fellow running back Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys is facing possible domestic violence charges. Our hosts will share their thoughts on that and more on this episode.
