The Bears haven't played in over a month, but they made headlines in different ways Friday. First, a new law that could be passed in Illinois could greatly affect Chicago's ability to sign free agents. Secondly, the Bears are also rumored to be suitors for Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

If there's time, Pollin and Holcomb will also discuss Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim going for his 1,000 victory on Saturday ... well, sort of.
