Weekend Sports Huddle with Tom Pollin & Dave Holcomb

WRSP Radio presents the 44th weekly episode of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin and Dave Holcomb.

The greatest sports tournament is underway! The Stanley Cup Playoffs began on Wednesday, and there's already so much action to catch up on this week. The defending Stanley Cup champions sustained another key injury in net, but Marc-Andre Fleury has steered the Penguins to a 2-0 series lead over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Meanwhile, things didn't go quite as planned for the Chicago Blackhawks in their first playoff game versus the Nashville Predators. Our hosts review the top storylines in each series.

Unfortunately, it wasn't all great news for Steel City sports this week. Steelers chairman Dan Rooney passed away at the age of 84 on Thursday. Holcomb & Pollin will dedicate plenty of time this Saturday to remember the contributions Rooney made not only to the Steelers but also to the city of Pittsburgh and the NFL.

Finally, our hosts will take a look and see what else to expect from the weekend series between the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates.
