Weekend Sports Huddle with Tom, Hunter & Dave

\WRSP Radio presents the sixth episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb.

Our shots have a lot more baseball to discuss this week. First, it's MLB Hall of Fame weekend. Pollin, Hodies and Holcomb remember the newest members of the hall - Tim Raines, Ivan Rodriguez and Jeff Bagwell - on the eve of their induction ceremonies.

Fittingly, future hall of famer Adrian Beltre might reach 3,000 hits over the hall of fame weekend. He now sits two hits away from the milestone and will become just the third 3rd baseman do accomplish the feat. Is Beltre getting enough attention for his recognition? He seemed to make more headlines for his curious ejection this past week than for his bid at history.

Next, our hosts will take a look at the last few days of the MLB trade deadline and recap the Cubs-White Sox series, which got very heated over the week.

Finally, Hodies and Holcomb will weigh-in on the Brian Dumoulin contract extension that he signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins this week.
