Weekend Sports Huddle with Tom, Hunter & Dave

WRSP Radio presents the 18th episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb.

On this week's show, our hosts start with the MLB playoffs. The Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals just finished a classic divisional series with the defending champions coming out on top. After their Game 5 victory, the Cubs will advance to their third straight championship series. 

But it came at the expense of the Nationals, who still haven't won a playoff series in their franchise history. Tom & Hunter will break down the ramifications of each series and then look ahead to predict the odds of Chicago beating the Los Angeles Dodgers and getting back to the World Series.

In the second half of our show, our hosts dive into Week 6 in the NFL. The Steelers and Bears will both be looking to bounce back after tough losses last week. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw a career-high five interceptions last Sunday against Jacksonville. Could the future Hall of Fame quarterback be in decline? In Chicago, Mitch Trubisky just began his NFL career, but what can he do to improve after his first start?
