WRSP Radio presents the 20th episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb.
On this week's show, our hosts start with the 2017 World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers were six outs away from going up two games against the Houston Astros, but Houston rallied for an exciting extra-inning Game 2 victory Wednesday night. Now with their victory Friday, the Astros find themselves ahead in the series 2-1.
How will the Dodgers respond? Can they get the series back to Los Angeles? Our hosts weigh-in on what the rest of the series could hold for baseball fans.
Next, the Pittsburgh Steelers revisit the site of their Super Bowl XL victory as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but the Steelers don't visit the Motor City this time without quite a bit of drama. Pittsburgh suspended wide receive Martavis Bryant for this Sunday's game after his Instagram post complaining about his playing time. While Hunter will defend the beleaguered wideout, Dave will argue the Steelers had no choice but to send him home.
In Chicago, the Bears have won two straight games for the first time in nearly two years. The Windy City is extremely excited about its rookie signal caller, but actually, it's the defense carrying the Bears at the moment.
This episode will also include Nostrathomas Predicts and the top storylines from the NFL in Real Deal or Overreaction. It's all coming up on Weekend Sports Huddle.
