WRSP Radio presents the 35th episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb.
It's officially the offseason in the NFL. But before we head there, our hosts will recap the exciting Super Bowl LII. In a game that saw the most yards ever in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles defense came up with a big play to edge Tom Brady for the franchise's first championship since 1960. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was outstanding and earned the game's MVP award.
After our recap, we'll take a look ahead to the offseason, sharing our thoughts on the big trade between the Chiefs and Redskins from a few weeks ago.
And finally, we'll end the show with some hockey. Hunter will share what he thinks the Penguins' biggest needs are before the trade deadline, and Tom wonders whether this is the end of the Blackhawks dynasty.
It's all coming up on Weekend Sports Huddle. We want to make you part of the show. Call in a 516-387-1417 or tweet @wkdsportshuddle.
