Lea Woodford, founder, and CEO of SmartFem joins host Denise Griffitts to discuss how social media has become the new cold call.
Lea Woodford went from columnist and TV personality to create her own multi-media marketing agency. She parlayed her online magazine, SmartFem. into a full-service marketing and advertising company with its own TV show.
SmartFem was created as a result of her many years as a Publicist, columnist as well as a Radio & TV Personality. She has extensive experience as a business consultant and entrepreneur but decided the only way she could make a difference for women was to create her own magazine that bridges the online community with the local community. Her passion is connecting people. Lea is often referred to as 'the connector' due to her extensive network.
Lea has been a columnist for years but only recently wrote her first book “Lead…Share…Empower… My Strategies for Success in Life and Business”. The book has been well received and was featured on Best Seller TV on the C-Suite Network. Lea and SmartFem TV were picked up nationally by the C-Suite Network out of New York City. Her show was also chosen to be featured in all of the major airports and luxury hotels.
