On tonight's episode I'm pleased to welcome Alan Britt to the program...

In August 2015 Alan Britt was invited to Ecuador in a cultural exchange between Ecuador and the United States. In 2018 and 2013 he served as judge for the The Bitter Oleander Press Library of Poetry Book Award. His interview at The Library of Congress for The Poet and the Poem aired on Pacifica Radio, January 2013.

He is Poetry Editor for the We Are You Project International. A graduate of the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars he now teaches English/Creative Writing at Towson University. 

Britt has been nominated for the 2021 International Janus Pannonius Prize awarded by the Hungarian Centre of PEN International for excellence in poetry from any part of the world. Previous nominated recipients include Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Charles Bernstein and Yves Bonnefoy.
