ASA,
Mother's Day, which is celebrated Sunday, May 8, 2016, gives us ample opportunity to appreciate who we sometimes take for granted - that female part of the family equation, our mothers.
If you were fortunate enough to have any memories of your own mothers, with the ups and downs, you are a blessed person.
The Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be Upon Him), advised that paradise lies at the foot of the mothers. We also are reminded that one of the 5th Commandment of the revelation, known as Torah, to Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
We are so challenged today, by a hostile doctrine that even seeks to redefine "man" and "woman", much less, "father" and "mother", but we are clear here; in a family, the father can only be a male/man and the mother can only be a female/woman. Sad, that this even has to be said, but this is what most of you "bought" on November of 2008.
In the meantime, let us discuss mothers and their impact on our lives: our own mothers, those you've known or know of, even those, who may be celebrities.
In fact, in this intense election season, we may even cover the exploits of my favorite "mother", who just happens to be the presumptive Democrat nominee for president of the United States of America (yes, it does get this bad).
So, join us on Critical Discourse, so we can hear and share your thoughts on "Paradise".
