As-Salaam-Alaikum (God’s Peace be upon You),
Once again, liberal, activist judges have put the squash on common-sense, legal initiatives.
This week, a judge in San Francisco, blocked President Trump’s Executive Order, calling for the defunding of “Sanctuary Cities”, who refused to abide by the law, in assisting I.C.E. agents from doing their job of handling illegal aliens, who reside in this country.
To be clear, the position by this writer, is in neither, inherently, anti-immigrant nor an indication of being against embracing and accepting other cultures and traditions. In every way, however, it speaks to the unbelievable sense of entitlement that has been allowed to go, unchecked, particularly during the last Administration.
Either, a nation has a right to determine who can cross its borders, and live there, or it does not. Yet, today, using buzz words and phrases, like “no one is illegal”, “building a wall, is tantamount to hate” or “we need to build bridges, not walls”, only obscures the key points of the issue.
Have you listened to some of the responses from those, when asked to defend their support of illegal immigration and the recent ruling? It’s a sad sight to behold; the utter display of convoluted, disingenuous and intellectually dishonest banter. And, we’re talking about in some cases, elected officials, who are sworn to uphold the Constitution.
Should Trump risk a government shutdown, over the Wall?
Will Trump’s rework of the Affordable Healthcare Act, pass? A very tough call, as it doesn’t seem, the GOP has the votes, even though Speaker Ryan has promised so.
Trump speaks before the NRA – clearly a 2nd Amendment president.
And, what’s with the intolerance on the left, when it comes to invitations of conservative speakers? Why, the threats of violence?
