Blessed Ramadan / Happy Father’s Day

At press time, we’ve not received confirmation from the Imam, to provide some insights into the fast of Ramadan, whose period is coming to an end.

And, I do apologize for his not being able to join us, last weekend.

In the meantime, we have seen, pretty much first hand, the manifestation of irrational and hostile, political and social discourse.

Will it take the shooting of Representative Scalise, to have us all take a step back, on how we interact?

That said, can you imagine the vitriol which would have been spewing from the mouths of Pelosi, Clinton, Schumer and Obama, had the shooter, James Hodgkinson, been a conservative, and had targeted democrats? As much as I’d rather not “go there”, I can only think back to the tragic shooting of Gabby Giffords, and those around her, who were killed, and recall how Sarah Palin was the villain (the NYT even tried to pin the Alexandria shootings on her!).

Going forward, things to consider:

1. How the shootings will affect the public’s perception of 2nd Amendment rights
2. Given the extensive surgeries required for Scalise (and the obvious expenses), how this might affect the content of TrumpCare.

If you tell a lie long enough, the greatest skeptic will begin to believe it.

Here we are, fresh from the promised, “smoking gun” testimony of James Comey, which were supposed to hammer the nails in the impeachment coffin, only to find out, that FINALLY, Trump is under investigation, for obstructing justice. Never forget, this is all about avenging Hillary’s crushing defeat, and the continued and unproven allegations that Russia materially altered the very vote counts, on November 8, 2016.

Yes, it is a Witch-hunt.
