At this writing, the Lion of Africa, leader of Zimbabwe, since 1980, Robert Mugabe, has been removed from power (temporarily, according to the head of the Army).
Considering the controversies, surrounding Mr. Mugabe, over the decades, many, including myself, are looking at this with great concern, and are wondering if this is the 21st century-version of externally-controlled forces, similar to what befell Patrice Lummumba in 1960, as one example.
According to reports, his wife, Grace, with her manipulative ways, sought unprecedented power, and exhibited gross materialism, earning her the nickname, "Gucci Grace". Incidentally, again, according to reports, she has fled the country, to an unknown destination.
We do not know where this will lead, but we do hope and pray, that truth and justice, prevail.
Other topics on the table, include the GOP tax plan, president Trump's successful trip to Asia and in general, the intense build-up of political intrigue.
