As-Salaam-Alaikum (God's Peace upon You),

From my last check, President Donald j. Trump is considering banning bump-stocks, and perhaps enacting tougher background checks for those, desirous of enacting their 2nd Amendment rights.

Considering the tragic shooting in Florida, last week, expectedly, the NRA is the whipping-boy, of those who, for some strange reason, do not respect the 2nd Amendment, even worse, reject the idea of the instinct of man, to protect himself, his family and community.

That said, in light of the Las Vegas shootings, as the topic did come up, I see no reason to allow bump-stocks to be legal, period. Yes, even the right to bear arms, has limitations; no one I can think of, would even suggest that we should have a "right" to purchase incendiary devices. And let's face it, no one is going to defeat the U.S. military, much less the local and state police, with his home arsenal. And I understand the sentiment of those who've argued, one reason for the 2nd Amendment, was to act as a protective buffer against those very forces.

As noted last week, the real challenge is the SOUL control; the return to the obedience and adherence to and of, the Lord of the Worlds.

We've got to allay anger, jealousy and resentment, which at times, feeds, nurtures murderous intent and follow-through.

We must ask, “what causes a man to commit such evil deeds?” Insanity? Seeking their “15 minutes of fame”?

The problem is NOT President Donald J. Trump, though he is to be commended for speaking forcefully to the, legal issues. Of course, the liberals, already (since November 2016) hell-bent on seeing him fall, continue in their vitriol, with all deliberate speed and intent.

A brief take on the passing of Billy Graham, which in my view, rekindles discussion on the issue of religiosity in political discourse.
