On The Queen of Show Talk Angela Butler is with Author Oliver Hubbard. Hubbard is the Author of Crash which is a inspirational book that is based upon his life growing up in and all black town. During the 1950's 1960's and 1970's.A rarity in this day and time a simpler time period . Hubbard's life story of finding God at a young age and being in a black town and family. Is both melancholy and factual. This town still exists in New Jersey and the fight to keep racism out still continues in modern day times. His book reminiscences on how things were and are. When there was less crime and less trauma to African Americans. This town and community was not bombed out are flooded and drowned out like Tulsa Oklahoma and other all black communities and towns. The strength and unity of black universities and a simpler time is poignant. Crash is a must read for all who did not live in such a area and inspirational to all who just want to know what that life and experience was like. This interview is prerecorded.
