When will Isaiah 9:6-7 be fulfilled with messiah king sitting on David's throne.

*Fulfillment: Luke 1:31-33;; Romans 1:1-4;; John 1:1-4;; Colossians 2:9. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.

*** What is Isaiah 9 talking about?     *Isaiah is looking to the future when Christ would begin his ministry in Galilee. He appears to sinful men. Jesus is the light of the world but men love the darkness, so they put the author of life to death. There is no clearer revelation of the darkness of sin in men.

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.

*David's throne was "established" when God raised "up the Christ to sit on his throne" and exalted Him "to the right hand of God" (Acts 2:29-36). Christ told the .
This promise to David can be summarized by four main points: * David's seed would be set upon the throne,  *it would happen after David's death, * God would establish this throne, and * this one would build God's house. These promises were fulfilled by Jesus Christ, the son of David, when He ascended into heaven to sit at God's right hand.
