Journeying with us today is Ms. Marcyline Bailey, a social worker who will talk to us about mentoring colleagues experienceing overwork and burnout. Ms. Bailey will share the life path that led to establishment of her private practice as well as her determination to address the overwhelming working conditions that plague social workers across the country. She provides mentoring and self-care resources to social workers and related professionals, and utilizes her 20 plus years of experience as a consultant and presenter to non-profit organizations, professional associations,colleges and federal programs. Also accompanying us on the journey will be Mr. Bill Cruikshank, Executive Director of Meals On Wheels, Long Beach. Bill spends an incredible amount of time volunteering and doing good works. He is a part of Father Al's Outreach through Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, organizing groups to feed the homeless and visit patients at many Long Beach area nursing homes. Bill has served as a mentor through the Los Angeles Catholic Archdiocese, Office of Restorative Justice. He works with The Salvation Army in support of newly recovering men from their ARC program and volunteers with Christian Outreach in Action, assisting the homeless and senior populations.
