Our second guest is choreographer, dancer par excellance, fitness guru and author, "Dr. Dancer," otherwise known as the inimitable Joey L. Dowdy. PERFORM!, and shine a discerning and wisdom-enhanced light on the vagaries, plusses and minuses of a life at the center of the entertainment industry.

His “Groove is Gonna Get Cha!” how-to dance fitness program has been featured on the ABC-7, K-TLA, FOX, NBC and QTN. Joey’s claim to fame is his history as the original choreographer for boy bands such as the Backstreet Boys (one of the top-selling pop groups of all time), Take-Five, The California Boys and The United Nations all-male Dancer Crew. He has also trained extensively with the Joffrey 2 Ballet and the Tennessee Ballet, is a graduate of the world-renowned Point Park University, and is an alumnus of Disney's Epcot Center World Dancers.
