My guest will be Toni Samanie lost a family member five years ago due to polypharmacy. One of the most volatile drugs was Cymbalta. When she learned more about this drug and others like it she became a passionate advocate. As an outlet for grief and her own healing she started two groups on Facebook: Prescription Drug Danger and Cymbalta Hurts Worse. Peter Bertorelli will share his recent brush with a brain episode, as a result of a bad drug interaction. He suffered severe aphasia as a result, but thankfully, has seemingly resolved. Not all are so lucky. Negative drug interations in this over medicated society, is one of the fastest growing area of medical malpractice. We need always be as diligent as possible, and try to advocate for our own drug intake when we can. Negative results can be deadly.
