One Step at a Time - How domestic violence effects ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE

In honor of Domestic Violence month, our guest speaker for this Friday night’s show is an amazing survivor of a horrific tragedy, Kathy (Batista) Wheeler.  She is representing the IAmGladysCabrera Foundation to tell her story on how a mother /daughter day at a hair salon has changed her life forever.   She will speak on how domestic violence affects ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE.  We will discuss what signs to look for if you suspect a loved one is possibly involved in an abusive relationship and provide resources as well as tips to assist them (or yourself).  Please tune in for this most important topic that we see too much but may have done too little about.   Let’s use our voices to raise awareness!!
