On today's show, we are very lucky to have a very special guest in Tiffany Jaide Hightower! I'm so happy to share Tiffany's story with you today and the story of Complaisant The Docudrama!
I am very happy because it brings me a host of good feelings to know that there are actors out there beating back their diseases and making their dreams come true! It's what I used to do!
When I was a child, I endured learning difficulties and had a seizure disorder. This was caused by the cardiac arrest and the lack of oxygen to her brain as a premature infant in the Neonatal Care Unit. Until I was an adult, I finally realized that what I thought was a "learning disability" was actually a brain injury with the complications Premature birth can have. I had been struggling with awkward health difficulties for a while. Then I computerized tomography (CT) scan, where I laughed and showed an abnormal brain reading, she laughed and said,“I know that already! Tell me something I don’t know!” Then, they told me I had M.S. and I took the news with ease. Without knowing it is one of the most serious health complications there are!
From my first interview, I have said that my outlook on life would be, “Find the beautiful around you and stay calm.” That is where my movement #MSbeautiful came from. For while, it is important to acknowledge our M.S. or B.I. it is also important to remember to RELAX when we can! To Have Fun! To try to learn new coping mechanisms and to try to meet and communicate with the important or sometimes new people in our lives!
Please tune in tonight to get the code tonight to watch the hit MS docudrama Complaisant for free!
