BRAIN and Domestic Violence on Recovery Now with Kim Justus

Robert Knechtel, J.D., M.D., was appointed Sojourner Center’s COO and General Counsel in December 2014. He now also serves as Medical Director for Sojourner Health and director of the Sojourner BRAIN Program.

Since joining Sojourner Center, Dr. Knechtel has led initiatives to address the public health implications of domestic violence, including initiation of the Sojourner BRAIN Program to focus on the epidemic of traumatic brain injuries among women, children and men who have been affected by domestic violence, and creation of Sojourner Health, which will provide expanded healthcare options to those already offered by Sojourner; new services include expanded primary care, dental care and behavioral health.
