Excited for our guests, Next Tuesday, Sept.12th, Nate Rosene is a brilliant Physical Therapst with Novacare Rehabilitation. Nate gained interest in physical therapy after tearing his own ACL. He has experience in many post-operative orthopedic injuries and spent a year shadowing a spinal specialist orthopedic surgeon and has an abundance of experience with post-concussion rehabilitation. Join us while we pick his brain about physical therapy and working with patients with brain injuries! HUG part in healing and the health of the brain after any brain injury, including concussions.
Alana MacIntyre, Speech Pathologist, has over 20 years of experience working with ABI clients in the acute, rehabilitation and home setting. She has completed several post-graduate courses in Cognitive-Communication Disorders. Her current practice is based on assessing and treating individuals who have suffered both catastrophic and non-catastrophic injuries, including acquired brain injuries, and cognitive communication difficulties as a result of motorvehicle accidents or other mechanisms. Alana is also the Best Practice Consultant for Speech Language Pathologists for the Northern Ontario Heart and Stroke Network. She continues to participate in professional development through continuing education.
