Myrna Hayes has nearly completed the treatment phase from her current concussion (which was this past Oct.) This is not her first accident, so this rear-ender compounded a set of pre-existing problems. As a Chiropractor, I know that it is much harder to determine what was her pre-accident state when she has suffered previous brain injury accidents. We always tell people that healing is like peeling an onion, fixing and discarding a layer at a time. However, when there's been a previous accident, is each layer fixed or only partially healed due to the limits of matter?
Ms. Hayes will talk about her impression and experience on her personal life. She will relate her current state to her work as well as her personal life. Myrna manages the local nature preserve and oversees the bird-watching days, holiday celebrations and other community activities. She has a lot of responsibilities and head-injury accidents are a time-consuming issue. She will discuss the current accident, and it's effects on her, as well as her previous experiences with vertigo and PTSD. Everything she has experienced in this brain trauma, as well as those in the past influences her current state. She is a strong woman, but no one is invulnerable.
