Join Kim and Simon as they discuss the probability of anti-aging tools, and particularly slowing of Brain Aging. Most of us know that cognitive function gets interrupted with brain injury .. At least the 1000's+ of us who recognize it in our own case. We knew that aging in and of itself causes brain function to decline. If you're like us .. The aging/injury combo resembled an accelerated decline. Example, Kim's injury was at age 35. Certainly aging wasn't a consideration at that time, but it didn't take long to realize that her brain function had gone from her pre-injury way of operating, to that of someone decade(s) older. When real aging kicked in .. Wow .. Help!!

They will be giving some tips that seem to be working at putting the brakes on the Brain Aging process. You may have others you'd like to call in and share. Keeping the Hope alive and helping the brain to thrive.

Also carried over from last weeks' show - It's Summer! Refresh on Difference Between Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke. Neither are good .. Symptoms, Tips, When to Get Help - Be Cool :)

This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers, which takes a good bit of Warrior!
