Sol Adventurers Live, an inter-generational show providing an informal platform where youth reason w/ elders to transform generational barriers, create lasting bonds, and carry ancient wisdom forward to the next 7 generations. Sol Adventurers Foundation, a 501 c 3 non-profit empowers youth to discover their gifts, share them with the world, and gain strength through reconnecting w/ their community. We are bridging the gap b/t youth and elders.
Our elder guest is Dr. B, the chairperson of the DARC Foundation and MD. Our youth guest is Ife Sainte, a 20-year old college student studying science and engineering. He is skilled at trade jobs and aspires to work in a chemistry lab or find a career in machining. He is a GameAmp member & P.L.A.Y. and D.A.T.A. Leader. Our musical inspiration is Prof I of Redemption Grounds in JA, a well-respected Rastafari elder. Barrington Andrew ‘Prof-I’ Reynolds, a Rastaman from creation started chanting nyahbinghi in 1967 in Back-A- Wall (now Tivoli Gardens) w/ his brethren I-Leck. Prof-I soon realized he was a natural chanter and drummer. Since then, he has participated in numerous events celebrating Rastafari and nyahbinghi: One Love Peace Concert 1977, Ethiopian Liberation Day, His Majesty’s Earthday, His Majesty’s Coronation Day and Ethiopian Christmas.
