Debut Women’s Fiction author, Elena Mikalsen's first novel, WRAPPED IN THE STARS, will be released in 2018. This beautiful story about finding love was short-listed for the Del Sol First Novel Prize in 2017.
Living in San Antonio, Dr. Mikalsen loves travel and browsing through bookstores or antique shops with her husband and two children.
When not writing stories, she's a Pediatric Psychologist helping children with chronic medical illness.
She writes books about women who have a chance to change their lives.
When not writing her books, practicing medicine, or spending time with her family, she blog on issues of mental health for teens and adults where she helps patients in managing anxiety, stress, and parenting issues.
Additionally, she provides consultation to authors on writing about mental health. She can be found at Facebook and Goodreads. Dr. Mikalsen is also part of Authors 18.
