Born and raised in Taiping, Malaysia, award winning author, YZ Chin now lives in New York. This multilingual software engineer spends her days creating code, but in the evenings, she writes incredible fiction and poetry. Her husband and cat are some of her biggest fans.
She won the Louise Meirweather First Book Prize with her debut novel, Though I Get Home.
YZ has also penned two poetry chapter books, one of which will be coming out in 2019.
