Close Up Radio Spotlights Serena Hemmer of Heart and Soul Counseling

Saint Petersburg, FL – Serena Hemmer has more than 15 years of experience providing clinically sound, creative, holistic counseling for children, adults, couples and families.

She graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Ohio State University, and Summa cum Laude from Capital University in Columbus, OH.

Serena weaves Expressive Arts, Play and Sand Tray modalities into sessions with children. She established an Expressive Arts Clinical Program at a behavioral health residential center for youth in Worthington, OH.

Serena's private practice is Heart and Soul Counseling, in the Tampa Bay Area. She founded her practice in 2006 in Westerville, OH. She also incorporates her experience in dance, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, drama, visual arts and pottery. She is also certified in Rational Hypnotherapy. As an Ordained Metaphysical, New Thought minister, Serena supports clients, who are seeking, to explore and expand their values, spirituality and faith.

Rev. Serena is an intuitive, and a conscious voice channel. She also speaks, writes and draws symbols in Light Language, a multidimensional language that is understood by anyone who experiences it through the heart, on a soul level, not by the mind.

She is a Reiki Master Teacher, Advanced Theta Healing practitioner, Access Bars Practitioner, and she taught Qi Gong and Tai Chi for State Employees in Ohio.
