Escape from the Taliban

ZZ is an Afghanistan woman who was taken captive by the Taliban, mistreated and brutally tortured by them for four days before escaping. She became a translator for the US military for ten years before leaving Afghanistan on August 15, 2021 on the last international flight to America. She makes motivational speeches at high schools and colleges about her ordeal and women's rights. Her most recent speech was at Yale University. She has written a book about her ordeal and is currently looking for a publisher.
