Sept 20 ~ Charlotte View: Messengers of PEACE ~ in celebration for the UN International Day of Peace

Charlotte View presents P E A C E ~ in preparation for the UN International Peace Day held on Saturday, September 21st, during which special activities and celebrations will take place all across the world including Charlotte NC.

The International Day of Peace, a.k.a. "Peace Day" provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of peace on a shared date.

During this call we will open our mics to anyone, anywhere who wishes to share 60 minutes of peace; we will share our deepest thoughts and understandings about this powerful word.  

Anyone, anywhere can celebrate Peace Day. It can be as simple as lighting a candle at noon, sitting in silent meditation, or doing a good deed for someone you do not know. Or it can involve getting your co-workers, organization, community or government engaged in a large event. The impact of millions of people in all parts of the world coming together for one day of peace is immense and does make a difference.

Please save the date and join the Charlotte Cooperation Circle at the Neighborhood Theater, located in NoDa.PEACE DAY will be held here from 11 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, September 21st. The programs will range from international music, drum circle, talks, dances, and art displays.
