Ninja Turtles aren't the only animals that children are wild about. This morning's Off The Shelf Book Talk Radio guest has written a book series about another child popular animal -- raccoons. Ninja raccoons teach elementary school aged children how to add, subtract and more. These popular ninja turtles show elementary school children how to build and work in teams, sharpen their communication skills and grow up strong, confident and happy.

Writer Kevin Coolidge, author of the Ninja Raccoon book series, joins author Denise Turney, on Off The Shelf on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11am/EST (New York City time). Coolidge and Turney will discuss the makings of the Ninja Raccoon stories, adults writing to appeal to elementary school children's imaginations and reading levels. They will also discuss book illustrations, bringing children's book stories alive and marketing children's books to schools, libraries and bookstores.
