From 1981 to 1989, he was a member Frukwan Stetsasonic , group which was also part of the future collaborator GraveDiggaz Prince Paul . Frukwan Stetsasonic abandoned after their second album, and after a couple of years, Stetsasonic separated. Frukwan reemerged in 1992 as a member of Gravediggaz, associated with the family of Wu-Tang , together with Prince Paul, RZA and Too Poetic. Posing as The Gatekeeper, Frukwan was the most prolific lyricist group. In 2002 they took Nightmare in A-Minor, an album produced by the two remaining members of the group.
