She has a wide range of knowledge in different subjects such as the Afrikan spiritual system “Ifa, Martial arts , personal development, sewing, variety of forms of self defense and much more. Akua’s teaching journey began while working at two Afrikan centered private schools in Oakland CA,. Later she established “Little Ladies Book club” a successful teenage girl’s book reading group held a, recreation center. It was after relocating to Southern California however that her book writing began. Akua is now devoted to writing material and taking part in programs that promote children’s pride and awareness about global African culture.
