100 years ago, in the 1920’s, there was a great time of economic prosperity; GNP growth in the US was strong and unemployment fell into the range of 2% - 5%. The stock market crash in 1929, and the resulting Great Depression, changed all that. Out of the Roaring 20’s came a lot of change.

So what about the NEW “Roaring 20’s?” Workers are speaking out, albeit in very different ways than they did 100 years ago, when they’re dissatisfied with working conditions. And, interestingly enough, HR professionals are increasingly vocal in their public activism.
