We did a show last week where we checked with our HR community during this time of separation. The response was so good that we are going to do shows on Thursday night as a way to keep us connected. The format will be a little different. We will do a one hour show - 30 minutes with a guess and 30 minutes checking in with our friends and colleagues. On April 2 at 8 PM ET, our guest will be Jennifer Orechwa, COO at Projections Inc., an employee relations communications consultancy.
Jennifer help discuss the right ways to connect with employees in times of crisis. Through powerful and effective video, websites, eLearning, social media and more, Projections helps companies create a true culture of genuine employee engagement. Together with the Projections team, Jennifer has spent nearly 3 decades helping companies connect with and engage employees to achieve their goals.
On the show we will discuss:
How negative information impacts employees
Are companies communicating as frequently with employees as they are with customers, vendors
How can companies connect with employees right now?
Let’s talk about communicating with managers or front-line leaders
Is there anything companies should AVOID in their communication with employees?
the language we should use when we’re talking with employees. Word/Tone during times of crisis?
What about the need for two-way communication?
During a crisis, how can we give employees an opportunity to talk to US?
