The year 2022 has ended. There were many major events here in Los Angeles, California. There were several political recall attempts to get a corrupt DA George Gascón out of office and a city councilman. Both of these attempted recalls failed with some stating that the city officials had tampered with the recall efforts. We had revelations of corruption in the Los Angeles City County and the LA County Board of Supervisors. Several of the Los Angeles City Council members have criminal trials coming up and some have been convicted. We saw a big bombshell with the revelations of leaked recordings of some Hispanic City Councilmembers planning to change voting districts to the detriment of Black Americans and several racist comments. There was a big conflict between the Los Angeles County Sheriff and the LA County Board of Supervisors in 2022. This ended with the Sheriff being voted out of office. Before he lost his election, he sent deputies to raid the home of one of the LA County Supervisors Sheila Kuehl. "Ms Kuehl, who is an outspoken critic of Sheriff Alex Villanueva and has called for his resignation, was escorted away from her Santa Monica home as the raid took place."

The corruption in the Los Angeles government, courts, and all law enforcement are beyond belief! This is how we face the new year in 2023. It has been a constant struggle for those that want some kind of change. It looks like the struggle will only continue in 2023 here in Los Angeles California.
