Special Guest: Giles Miskin, MD of The Colour Works and Speaker of the Year 2013 at the Academy for Chief Executives
Although investing in improving staff engagement levels makes obvious sense, and the 4 enablers signpost a way to achieving them, we can’t ignore the fact that we’re all different and, even within our own team, may have a very different understanding of what it means to be engaging and to feel engaged.
Diversity within teams is of course part of what makes them successful – different skills, perspectives, experiences and opinions all make decision-making more robust – but it can also cause misunderstanding, frustration and stress.
Giles is MD of The Colour Works, a learning and development company specialising in engagement and the largest UK distributor of the Insights Discovery profiling system, and he will share with us some of the trials and tribulations of turning behavioural diversity from a potential engagement blocker to a core team strength.
Host: Jo Moffatt
