Life during the middle years of the 20th century was much different from today's 21st century of non-stop 24 hour television and cheap pre-packaged factory foods, in many ways life was more healthy.

1 GAL CUCUMBERS, SLICED 3 CUPS VINEGAR 3 CUPS SUGAR 2 T DILL SEED 2 T MUSTARD SCEED 1 T SALT PINCH ALUM BRING LIQUIDS TO A BOIL, ADD CUCUMBERS BRING TO BOIL AGAIN, CAN WHILE HOT IN CLEAN JARS AND LIDS.
